PSM picks up AFC media rights for the Maldives

June 17 – The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) has continued filling in its global TV distribution map with the announcement that PSM will be their new media partner in Maldives.

The deal covers AFC’s competitions from 2021 to 2024 and includes the final round of the AFC Asian Qualifiers, as well as AFC Champions League and AFC Cup starting from the 2021 season.
PSM, the official State Media in Maldives, will deliver extensive live coverage of the AFC competitions through their linear channel and partner digital service, PSM Connect.

Dato’ Windsor John, the AFC General Secretary, said: “The AFC is delighted to welcome PSM to our ever-expanding family of media partners. Football holds a special place in the hearts and minds of fans in the Maldives, and we are pleased to be able to bring the AFC’s world-class competitions to further strengthen the passion for the beautiful game in the country.”
