SIGA commits to gender parity on Council with search for two new female leaders

March 29 – The Sport Integrity Global Alliance (SIGA) has opened an application process to select two additional female leaders to join the SIGA Council.

With the addition of two new female members, the Council will expand to 12 seats.

“The appointment of these new members will fulfil SIGA’s commitment to gender parity in the composition of its internal organs,” said SIGA.

“With this process, SIGA is taking affirmative action in their on-going quest to advance good governance in Sport and deliver gender equity and female empowerment and leadership in Sport.”

The deadline for submission candidatures starts today and expires at 18:00 CET on 28 April 2022. All applications must be submitted by email to moc.t1734951070rops-1734951070agis@1734951070ofni1734951070, including a covering letter, a detailed CV and references.

Italian magistrate and former minister Franco Frattini chairs the SIGA Council. Alison Giordano (Mastercard), Mohammed Hanzab (ICSS) and Densign White (IMMAF) serve as vice-chairs. The remaining members include Karin Korb (US Paralympic Champion), Kate Bevan (former F1), Eddie Marshbaum (Quest) and João Paulo Almeida (NOC Portugal), de Medeiros and SIGA Youth Council Chair Taylor Green.
