Education City is Qatar’s centre of knowledge and innovation, with a spectacular 44,667-seat stadium at its heart.
Education City Stadium hosted East and West Zone matches of the 2020 AFC Champions League.
On its opening the stadium was marked with a special TV programme to showcase the third match-ready World Cup Qatar 2022 venue. During the Qatar 2022 finals the stadium hosted matches through to the quarter-final stage of the tournament.
