September 19 – AS Monaco have strengthened their partnership with Bang & Olufsen which will see the luxury audio brand now feature on the sleeve of the Monegasque players’ Champions League jerseys.
The extension to the partnership comes as Monaco return to the Champions League with the new deal seeing the audio brand to feature on the match sleeves of Monaco players throughout Europe’s premier competition.
The sponsorship will make its debut as the Monegasques take on FC Barcelona on at Louis II Stadium tonight.
Thibaut Chatelard, Marketing & Revenue Director of AS Monaco, said : “After the extension of our partnership until 2026 a few months ago, this is another step forward that we have taken with Bang & Olufsen and a sign of mutual trust. We are very pleased to be able to count on the brand’s support during our Champions League matches, one of the most watched sporting competitions in the world, which will enable Bang & Olufsen to benefit from increased international visibility.”
On top of this, AS Monacœur, AS Monaco’s charity and community action programme, will be visible on the back of the Monaco players’ jerseys in the Champions League, beginning with tonight’s clash versus Barcelona.
Having only faced each other twice in their history, back in the 1993/94 Champions League group stage, FC Barcelona secured the points over Monaco on both occasions. With Barcelona star Dani Olmo set for a period on the sidelines, Thursday’s match presents a great opportunity for Adi Hutter’s side to mark their UCL return with a win.
