November 7 – Premier League Matchday 10 achieved a 97.65% stadium capacity across all ten fixtures, reflecting an average turnout while recording both season-high and season-low attendance figures for teams up and down the division.
The limping Wolves recorded their lowest turnout so far as their season continues to sour. With the squad sat at the bottom of the Premier League table, attendances at the Molyneux have steadily dropped since the beginning of the campaign, now stuck at a season-low 92.06%.
Fellow strugglers Southampton also struggled with a score of 96.17%, with the two teams set to face each other this weekend in a vital fixture for both sides, taking place at Molyneux.
Meanwhile, Manchester United recorded their best turnout of the season, perhaps as an ode to the mood around former manager Erik Ten Hag’s exit. The Red Devils also recorded the highest turnout of the matchday at 73,813 for the 1-1 draw with Chelsea, which also stands as the highest attendance in England this season.
Regular big hitters Newcastle scored best in %capacity with another fantastic showing – St James’s Park was full to 99.89% of its capacity as the Magpies secured a 1-0 victory over Arsenal courtesy of a thumping header from striker Alexander Isak.
Nottingham Forest, who find themselves third in the table after a superb opening to the season, are also winning off the pitch. They secured their best attendance of the season with 98.87% for the club’s 3-0 victory over 10-man West Ham on Saturday.
