Soccerex set Feb date for MENA edition alongside Sports Expo in Cairo

December 2 – Soccerex will hold the next edition of its conference and exhibition format in association with Sports Expo in Egypt in February 2025.

While Egypt play in the African confederation, the Soccerex MENA 2025 show will focus on the middle east (whose countries play in the Asian confederation), as well as the North African region, bringing together executives, decision-makers, and football professionals from around the world.

Attendance will include football clubs, federations, leagues, and major brands, to discuss the future of football in the MENA region via the Soccerex format of panels, expert-led workshops, and networking opportunities.

Soccerex said focus will be on digital transformation, fan engagement, youth development, investment in football infrastructure, and the increasing influence of women’s football in the region.

“This event will provide a unique platform to connect the global football industry with one of the most dynamic football markets in the world. Together with Sports Expo, we are creating an unparalleled opportunity to foster innovation, showcase cutting-edge solutions, and drive meaningful conversations that will shape the future of football in the MENA region and beyond,” said Patrick McCreanor, CEO of Soccerex.

Taking place February 23-25, at the Egypt International Convention Centre, the collaboration aims to provide a bridge between football and wider sports industries, “creating opportunities for collaboration, innovation, and growth”.

“Egypt, with its rich footballing history—the oldest in Africa and the MENA region—offers the perfect backdrop for Soccerex MENA 2025. Our nation’s prime location, bridging East and West, and its deep-rooted passion for football, supported by millions of enthusiastic fans and iconic football legends, make it an ideal host. We look forward to a successful edition that will further position Egypt at the heart of the global football industry,” said Hazem Hamada, CEO of Sports Expo.
