December 13 – UEFA has announced Swiss online banking provider Swissquote as an Official National Partner for Women’s Euro 2025 next summer. The partnership also includes Swissquote’s joint venture, Yuh, further strengthening the company’s commitment to fostering equality in sport.
Already a sponsor of the UEFA Europa League and UEFA Conference League, Swissquote is expanding its football presence with a focus on supporting the women’s game. This collaboration aligns with Swissquote’s broader mission to ‘champion equal opportunities’ and promote inclusion, both on and off the pitch.
The company is looking to use the sponsorship to promote financial awareness and empowerment, creating meaningful connections between its mission in finance and its support for equality in sport.
Taking place in Switzerland from July 2027, Women’s EURO 2025 will be the largest women’s EURO to date, featuring eight host cities, with expected record-breaking global attention.
Swissquote’s backing highlights the growing commercial appeal of the women’s game and reflects the increasing importance of partnerships in driving its continued development.
Guy-Laurent Epstein, UEFA marketing director, said: “We have built a strong and successful partnership with Swissquote over the years, making it a natural step to extend our collaboration that includes Yuh for the upcoming UEFA Women’s EURO, especially as the tournament takes place in the company’s home country. Their support will be instrumental in making this tournament the biggest and most successful yet, while we work together towards our shared goal of advancing women’s football globally.”
This collaboration marks a new chapter in Swissquote’s relationship with UEFA and signals its long-term dedication to fostering a more inclusive and equitable future, both within football and beyond.
“It is important to us to make our contribution to the positive development of women’s football,” said Marc Bürki, CEO of Swissquote.
“This sponsorship gives us the opportunity to make our commitment to female empowerment visible outside of the finance world,” added Markus Schwab, CEO of Yuh.
