Wrexham touch down with STōK Cold Brew Coffee at Super Bowl for second year

February 6 – Wrexham’s global conquest shows no signs of slowing down because for the second straight year, the little club from Wales have a spot in the sought-after National Football League (NFL) Super Bowl advert line-up.

Last year, the club owned by Hollywood pair, Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds showcased a STōK Cold Brew Coffee advert using Sir Anthony Hopkins as the club mascot, Wrex the Dragon.

For this edition of America’s most watched telecast, the club have teamed up with Hollywood superstar Channing Tatum and once again, their stadium sponsor, STōK Cold Brew.

While Tatum is well known to millions this advert will also feature some of the Wrexham squad in the form of Ollie Palmer, Paul Mullin, Jacob Mendy, Jack Marriott and others. In the ad, Tatum enters the sacred space of the dressing room and challenges the team to improve their goal-scoring celebrations while offering choreography suggestions.

“We’re so happy that three of the stars of Deadpool & Wolverine were able to work together again to bring this ad to life for our incredible Wrexham sponsor, STōK Cold Brew Coffee,” McElhenney and Reynolds said in a statement. “We will take no further questions related to Rob’s actual screen time.”

With an estimated audience of 140 million viewers, Super Bowl ad space does not come cheaply with the average 30-second Super Bowl commercial in 2025 costing $8 million. Given that the ad runs for over a minute, STōK Cold Brew are making a huge investment.

Tatum’s advert, titled ‘Hollywood Magic’, will stream on the Fox Sports and the NFL app during Super Bowl LIX on February 9.
