April 23 – Concacaf are taking a big step into the broadcast media world with an agreement with South American and LA-based TV production company Offline Sports to produce a documentary focussed on the 2025 edition of Concacaf’s revamped Champions Cup.
The series will go behind the scenes to cover teams, key players, coaching staff, and fans. Filming will take place across the region, with crews capturing the passion and drama of the Champions Cup from stadiums, training grounds, and cities.
The Champions Cup, formerly the Concacaf Champions League, is Concacaf’s blue riband club competition with 27 clubs qualifying through their domestic leagues and cups, and regional competitions.
“This tournament, with more than 60 years of history, is about more than football – it represents the pride, identity, and pursuit of excellence across our region,” said Philippe Moggio, Concacaf general secretary.
“Through this collaboration with Offline Sports, we’re excited to offer fans a new perspective on the Champions Cup and to begin a creative partnership that will continue to share the powerful stories of our game with the world.”
This week the Champions Cup plays the first-leg semi-finals, with Inter Miami CF meeting Vancouver Whitecaps, and Tigres UANL facing Cruz Azul
“There are few tournaments that allow you to experience so many languages, cultures, and ways of life. We believe that in that diversity lies something genuine, pure, and deeply special—not only reflecting the region’s cultural richness but also the rising competitiveness of a tournament that more and more global stars want to be part of,” said Offline Sports’ co-founders Gonzalo Arias and Diego Piasek.
