Chelsea enter multi-year deal with Ticketmaster as Official Partner

April 24 – Chelsea have announced a new multi-year agreement with Ticketmaster, confirming the global operator as the club’s Official Ticketing Partner.

The partnership will see Ticketmaster roll out its digital ticketing technology at Stamford Bridge from the 2025-26 season, as Chelsea look to modernise matchday operations and reduce fraudulent resales.

The deal, which holds an undisclosed length and valuation, is designed to offer fans a more seamless and secure experience, replacing paper tickets with mobile-based access and enhancing the club’s ability to clamp down on touting.

Ticketmaster, which already services major sports organisations across the NFL, NBA, and Premier League, brings a track record of digital transformation in ticketing, and its integration into Chelsea’s operations reflects the club’s ongoing commercial repositioning under the current ownership group.

The agreement also signals a further expansion of Chelsea’s off-pitch portfolio, which has grown significantly over the past year. The club have pursued an aggressive commercial strategy, including recent deals with BingX and Hilton, as well as a broader focus on data, fan experience, and international brand building.

With stadium redevelopment talks also ongoing, the partnership with Ticketmaster hints at long-term digital infrastructure planning beyond the short-term matchday experience.

Casper Stylsvig, chief revenue officer for Chelsea Football Club, said:
“We are delighted to welcome Ticketmaster to the club at a crucial time, as we move towards digital ticketing for the 2025-26 season.

“Partnering with a leading force in the industry brings significant value to our operations, ensuring we offer our fans a smoother, safer experience with best-in-class products, while continuing to address the issue of ticket touts. We are excited to begin working together and look forward to getting started.”

Chris Gratton, managing director at Ticketmaster Sport, added: “Chelsea FC is one of the biggest clubs in football, and we’re excited to be part of their journey. Our goal is to make ticketing as simple as possible for fans. We can’t wait to kick off this partnership and ensure every supporter gets a ticketing experience worthy of the Blues.”
