April 10 – Sports broadcaster Premier Sports has confirmed its return to the UK market having bought back its business sold to Swedish streaming platform Viaplay in a deal that includes naming rights to the Scottish League Cup, to be called The Premier Sports Cup next season.
March 12 – TNT Sports, the former BT Sports channel that is now owned by Warner Bros. Discovery, has struck a shared broadcast deal with the BBC for the English FA Cup.
March 6 – EFL clubs have given the green light to a new international TV rights agreements, collaborating with Pitch International and Relevent Sports to promote EFL broadcast sales and competitions worldwide for the next four years.

December 5 – The Premier League has agreed a new record £6.7 billion domestic television deal with Sky Sports and TNT Sports to show up to 270 live games a season, replacing the current £5 billion deal which runs until 2025.

December 1 – FIFA president Gianni Infantino has stressed the need for broadcasters to pay “a fair price” for the commercial rights to women’s football.
November 27 – Germany’s Bundesliga has signed a long-term deal with South Korean digital streamer Coupang Play, beginning at the start of next season. Coupang wlll have exclusive rights to stream Bundesliga and Bundesliga 2, as well as the German Supercup and the relegation play-off matches in its home territory.
October 23 – DAZN and Sky have renewed their Serie A broadcast deals for the next five seasons in a deal worth at least €4.5 billion.
October 18 – France’s Professional Football League (LFP) announced Tuesday that it had not received offers meeting the reserve prices for its domestic broadcast rights packages covering the 2024-2029 period.
October 16 – Streaming giant DAZN is building a portfolio in Saudi media rights after acquiring the global rights to the Saudi Women’s Premier League to add to the SPL rights.
October 10 – ESPN has agreed an extension to its broadcast rights for the Netherlands’ Eredivisie, Eerste Divisie and KNVB Beker until 2030.
