June 30 – The Albanian Football Federation (FSHF) has terminated its TV broadcasting contract with the Over Sport which owned the rights for First and Second tier of Albanian football, as well for Albanian Cup and Supercup.
June 9 – The Vietnamese K+ platform, a joint venture between Canal+ Group and national broadcaster VTV, has signed a deal to become the exclusive media rights holder of all AFC competitions in Vietnam for the 2025-2028 cycle.
June 1 – The governments of Britain, France, Spain, Germany and Italy have called on FIFA and broadcasters to “quickly reach an agreement” on TV rights for the Women’s World Cup this summer in Australia and New Zealand.
May 30 – Vietnam’s Women’s World Cup debut will be broadcast by National Assembly Television, following the acquisition of rights in the country by VMG Media, in the South Asian country. However, with just over 50 days to go until the tournament’s kick-off, FIFA is still to secure broadcast deals in key European markets.
May 17 – Serie A is targeting up to €7.2 billion from the upcoming sale of its domestic TV rights. The Italian top flight plans to extend contract durations from their current three-year cycle to up to five years in a bit to narrow the revenue gap with the Premier League, LaLiga and Bundesliga.
