November 17 – West Midlands Police have visited Premirship club Birmingham City after being called in by new owner Carson Yeung (pictured), who is angry after inheriting bills for over £6 million from various agents’ fees and transfer instalments.
Newcastle United to name ground after Ashley’s shops
November 4 – Newcastle United’s stadium will be renamed “sportsdirect.com @ St James’ Park Stadium” until the end of the season it has been announced.
Liverpool to help Indian football
