June 30 – El Salvador and Costa Rica failed to find the net in the Gold Cup’s first goalless draw, but the point keeps both sides in the hunt for the knockout stages.
June 28 – For 20 minutes it looked like Canada’s blushes, and coach John Herdman’s chutzpah, had been spared in their Gold Cup opener against preliminary round qualifier Guadeloupe.
April 19 – The USA kick off the group stages of the 2023 Gold Cup at the 63,000-capacity Solder Field in Chicago on June 24 against Jamaica. The US are looking to defend the title won in 2021 against Mexico. In 2019 the US lost at Soldier Field in the final to Mexico.

April 15 – Defending champions USA have been handed what looks like a comfortable group draw for the 2023 Concacaf Gold Cup, with the toughest challenge in the first stage likely to come from Jamaica and their contingent of English Premier League players.
March 31 – Concacaf has released detail of the draw and seedings for the Gold Cup 2023 groups and preliminary plays offs.
