December 21 – The fledgling Canadian Premier League (CPL), set to enter its fourth season, will in future negotiate its contracted players’ terms and conditions with the Professional Footballers Association of Canada (PFA Canada) under a collective bargaining agreement.

Having lost his appeal against extradition to the US, earlier this week he lost a first round legal battle with Concacaf over a long running dispute concerning the Dr Joao Havelange Centre of Excellence in Macoya, Trinidad.

November 25 – The Canadian Premier League (CPL) delivered good and bad news this week. The good news was a new major partnership, making Maple Lodge Farms the Official Food Protein Partner of the league and Canada Soccer’s National Teams.
November 16 – New York Football Club (NYCFC), owned by City Football Group, and New York City have reached a deal for a new football stadium to be built in Queens.
November 15 – Concacaf has extended its partnership with Host Broadcast Services (HBS) for the next four years until December 2026 to provide broadcast coverage for its it major competitions including the Gold Cup, W Gold Cup, W Championship, Nations League Finals and Champion’s League.

November 7 – Los Angeles FC beat Philadelphia Union to win the MLS Cup but only after a last-minute equaliser in extra time from Gareth Bale tied the scores at 3-3.
November 3 – The Canadian Premier League formally announced Vancouver FC as the league’s ninth club, ahead of its inaugural season in 2023.

October 28 – The SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles will host the final of the 2023 Concacaf Gold Cup, while the confederation has confirmed for the second time there will be a 12-team centralised preliminary round in the US the week before the Group stages start.
