February 23 – In a landmark moment, the U.S. national women’s team has negotiated $24 million in an equal pay settlement, bringing to an end a prolonged class-action lawsuit with the US Soccer Federation.
February 17 – Concacaf president Victor Montagliani has hailed the kick off for the first Concacaf W Qualifiers as “a hugely important milestone for women’s football in our region”.
February 16 – Haitian club AS Cavaly has formally withdrawn from the 2022 Scotiabank Concacaf Champions League after the club failed to obtain visas for the US.

February 15 – Concacaf is breaking the mould with its women’s competitions, not just in their structure and scale, but also in their venue. Monterrey, Mexico, will host the inaugural Concacaf W Championship that will be played July 4-18.

February 9 – Jamaica Football Federation (JFF) president Michael Ricketts, under pressure over his management of the JFF, has been hit with a J$9 million (US$51,000) fine for defamation after homophobic comments he made in 2017.
February 7 – West Ham and Jamaica’s Michail Antonio will face off against Chelsea’s Christian Pulisic (US) and Bayern Munich’s Alfonso Davies (Canada), in the vote for the Concacaf player of the year.

January 31 – Canada opened up a four-point gap at the top of Concacaf qualifying for Qatar 2022 with a 2-0 home win over the US – their first World Cup home win over the US for 41 years.
January 28 – Writing off Costa Rica as an ageing and tired team might be premature. Last night they put themselves back into Qatar 2022 qualification contention with a 1-0 win over Panama.
January 27 – The eight Concacaf nations in the final World Cup qualification return to action tonight in an international window that will see them play three matches in eight days.
